With every booking, we include a personalised wooden plaque, available in the shape of a heart or a dove. Each plaque can be customised with names, dates, or a short message a simple keepsake to remember your special moment.
Your booking also includes a small netted bag of naturally moulted dove feathers when available. One plaque is provided free of charge with each booking, and additional plaques and naturally moulted feathers when available can be purchased for family or guests if desired.
We have a range of different baskets and vintage cages to choose from, which can be tailored with your choice of colours, flowers, and ribbons. Small personal items can also be included if required and returned to family members after the release.
Our doves can be hand released or released directly from the basket, depending on your preference.
There is also the option to include a small message attached to the dove’s leg ring. Please note the message will be lost in flight and should be no larger than 25–50mm.
We will arrive around 15 minutes before your event to quietly prepare everything, ensuring the moment feels calm and seamless.
An experienced dove handler will always be present, with your doves ready to be released either by hand or from a basket whatever feels most comfortable and meaningful for you.
We will gently guide you through each step, so you feel at ease, supported, and able to fully embrace the moment.
The safety and welfare of the doves is of the utmost importance at all times.
Dove releases are subject to suitable weather conditions. Releases cannot take place in adverse weather, including snow, heavy rain, fog, or strong winds, as this may prevent the doves from returning home safely. In the event that a release must be cancelled due to weather conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Releases are carried out during daylight hours only. If an event is delayed and there is insufficient time for the doves to return home safely before dusk, the release may need to be cancelled. In such circumstances, a refund will not be issued.
The final decision to proceed with a release will always be made with the safety and wellbeing of the doves in mind.
For the safety and wellbeing of the doves, please do not put hands or fingers inside the baskets or cages. We will carefully guide you when it’s time for the release, ensuring the experience is safe and enjoyable for everyone.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that permission has been granted by the venue for a dove release to take place.
Releases are offered within a 20–30 mile radius of Ashford, Surrey. Locations outside of this area may be considered upon request.
A booking is secured once a deposit has been received. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will require payment of the full booking amount.
